  1. Excuse the OT post, but shouldn't the brakes be capable of holding the aircraft in place when you power up for takeoff? When I go to max power, the aircraft starts rolling slowly, even with full brakes. Cars are designed so the brakes are stronger than the motor for obvious reasons, I would have thought the same goes for aircraft (maybe excluding the SR-71:D).
  2. Dude, you have no idea :smartass: A lot of us did the transition from the A-model from Lockon/Flaming Cliffs to the C-model and have been shuffling about on our knees in praise of ED ever since. Can I get an "Amen", people? Anyway, it's nice that you are making progress and enjoying it. Fun makes learning a lot easier.
  3. I agree, the training missions have evolved quite a lot since Burning Beach. But like Kylania says, creating your own test range is quite easy with the editor. 1. "New mission" 2. keep the sides the way they are 3. put an US A10C next to an airfield (e.g. Batumi) skill: Player loadout: your choice! under waypoints choose takeoff and start from ramp 4. add waypoints for your route last waypoint = land target waypoint's elevation 0 feet AGL for easier target acquisition 5. add targets of choice at target waypoint (e.g. RU 4xT72 + 2xZSU23-4) 6. if you want, you can change the weather and time of the mission 7. done, save, fly, kill! That should be all, I hope I didn't miss anything. Good hunting! :gun_sniper:
  4. I think people go "askaskask" instead of "searchsearchsearch"...
  5. Hi Dragon, very nice missions, thank you for your work! I have a question about Harcore Terrorists, though: Some time into the mission you get a message "All 6 trucks destroyed", but soon there seems to be new trucks appearing. Is that intended? Also in my opinion the mission is too loaded with enemy units/air defenses, but that's only my taste for MP-missions. But I can imagine that you designed your missions with some long-term playability in mind (not like some of the official campaign missions that you can complete with one single GBU-31) for multiple aircraft.
  6. Just found out that I mixed up GAME and REAL settings in options. NOW there's no axis (rotary) assigned to zoom, and the jittering is fixed.
  7. 1. The code the bomb looks for 2. The code the TGP emits 3. The code the TGP scans for (LSS) It's pretty easy to get those mixed up with somebody else in the air also trying to lase/buddy lase. And just like Eddie said, yes, you should be able to drop LGBs without the TGP.
  8. Just got a MFRCS single-engine landing done with just blowing one tire. Do you really need to trim to change pitch? Since I only used the stick that would explain my more than shallow approach
  9. Maybe a bigger deadzone for the wheel would help in your case? When I look at the settings for my X-52 in the Control Panel, I see that the wheels "shake" quite a bit on their own.
  10. Hello people, since I started using the 64 bit version recently (last patch or so?), I constantly encounter the following problem on my flights: The in-cockpit view seems to shake/snap back and forth/reset along the z-axis for no particular reason. I normally use Freetrack with a 3-led-clip, but this also happens when not using any kind of headtracking software. The attached track was recorded without Freetrack on a vanilla FULL install of the latest build. The first snap occurs after the 2 trucks at the first WP are taken out. It seems the more I change the view (via numpad), the more it snaps/jiggles afterwards. I use a X-52 Pro, but have no axis defined for changing anything view-related. Thanks to anybody who takes his time to watch the track or contribute to the problem. BTW: Why is such a short track already 5 MB big? ZoomProblem.trk
  11. Ok, can you have a look at this track please? Maybe you can take control and pickle an LGB? LGBTest.trk
  12. Since this is a pretty rare scenario allow me this question: have you ever dropped a GBU10/12 without a TGP on your aircraft? EDIT: (in the newest build, of course)
