Anyone have a good VAC profile. Extras are good, but I mainly like a comms menue (Flight/Wingmen/Ground Control etc.)

Thanks again Hassata. Once again you are super helpful.

So once again having problems. First, I want to make the 'radio button' on my Warthog (press) the button I push when using the VAC commands, but if I program it (in TARGET) to be (let's say Ctrl M) then the whole configuration gets screwy inside of the game. Is there away to permanently program a Warthog button to emulate a keyboard press?

Also, I'm not sure what the best method is to activate VAC within the game (push to activate/VAC on/off switch). For whatever reasons when I can get VAC to work a little within the game the game keeps flipping to opther views (e.g. f3 etc) without hitting the '\' button. (and yes I changed the '#' to '\')

Also, can someone point me to a tutorial for using the non-simplified radio.

Some day I am going to get this game squared away.....

I'm not at my machine, but the VAC Option that works the best is the one that 'primes' vac to listen for a command. So you use one of the available WH buttons (MIC up I think) to generate a key press through hotkeys which you then assign to the 'prime' button in VAC. I haven't had time to try any of this, but that's what I plan to do when I get the time.

Can anyone help me with the VAC program?

If I try and launch the the "VAC system" I get the error "VAC System has stopped working" error.

I can launch and load Hassata's profile using the VAC builder. And when using the "Test Phrase" the program recognizes my commands. Even with my North East England accent :-)

Why wont the VAC System work? I'm using win 7 64 bit.

I would really like to get this program to work. I used to use a similar freeware program called "Shoot" and used it with Falcon AF. It doesn't work with Win 7...... But I'd gladly pay for VAC if anyone can help.

To be honest, I can't understand why more "simmers" don't use voice recognition programs!

Everyone is happy to spend a lot of money on a HOTAS, TIR & MFD's. But I see very few posts for voice recognition!!! To actually talk to your wingman and ATC!!! Surely that's worth a few £'s.

As I'm desperate to get a voice recognition program to work.....In the event I cant get VAC to work, does anyone know of similar programs?

Cheers Novac

I know that the publisher of VAC has been "johnny on the spot" (i.e responds quickly) every time I have had problems. The forums at VAC are also pretty responsive.

VAC is great program, and worth your time. I am using Windows 7 64 bit without any problems.

My mistake!

I didn't realize that VAC system went straight to the task bar once started. What I was doing was starting the program twice which caused the crash! Doh!!!

All is now OK :-)

Thanks.

I have installed VAC and have made a profile. I am now looking to back it up, but I cannot find the profile folder anywhere. I never changed the default path, so where on Gods earth is it? The path says it should be in this default path, but it isn't. C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\VAC

How can I find my profile now? Thanks!!
