I spent the morning making 30 missions with 30 different vehicles in each mission. Your job is to fly to your battle position, ID the target and shoot or don't shoot and fly back home. If you shoot the wrong target (any Eastern Bloc Country Vehicles) then you will get a nasty note that ID's the target for you so you can remember it next time. This will give you some flight time, take off's and landings, occupying a battle position and readjusting for a better looksie, and most of all, the main reason I did this, to Identify friend or foe so you can start weaning yourself off of labels. I made a campaign out of this but if you fail a mission then you have to start all over and such so I just took the missions and zipped them up and here they are. Please leave feedback. I did the 30 most common vehicles you will see but if you see one I should have put in there, then let me know and I can whipe it up in less then 5 minutes and have it posted. Enjoy and lets start turning those labels off. Don't cheat at this or it does you no good.

I'm holding out for the boxed version but I have downloaded your mission as well as many of the others in great anticipation of this sim. Your idea and mission should be very helpful for training target regcognition.

Thanks!

I hope that is exactly what it does and thus gets rid of the need for labels and sends the immersion off the scale.

I've downloaded it and will give it a go over the next 2 days. I'm off from work and there is an 8-14" snowfall headed our way tonight so I'm not going anywhere.

WOW, I've managed to ween myself off labels, but this sounds like a lot of work.

Look forward to downloading and flying. Always good to practice adjusting firing locations.

I downloadet and flew all the missions and noticed that all vehicles was set at 90 degrees from where you approached, you should set two vehicles of the same type side by side with the second vehicle against you so you can compare and learn how they look from different directions. God work anyway, those artillery units was difficult to identify.

OK I finally got time to add a second vehicle of the same kind for each mission so you can look at one view from the side and one view from the front. There are 30 missions total to ID and Shoot or don't shoot depending on ID. I suggest you make a new pilot in your logbook to do this in case you accidently shoot a friendly. By using these missions I hope to help people wean themselves off of labels by having good vehicle ID skills. There are only 30 vehicle represented but my intent was to represent the most common ones you will see in missions and campaigns. If you need another one, just let me know and I can whip up the mission for it in no time. I hope this helps people and thank you for the suggestion to do 2 views, side by side.
