And if there isn't, anybody got a clue how to use the microstick of the thrust unit? I can't seem to bind it to axis nor other commands.

(sorry for hijacking your thread sofie ;))

Well actually i am using my HOTAS Cougar, but as i programmed it to work as an keyboard emulator ( not acting as a typical joystick ) i assume it is worthless for you.

I programmed keyboard keys/macros to the buttons and it works like a charme.

If you read the manual carefully and try to programm it yourself ( it will take a few hours to get a perfect Profile ) you will discover many many features that regular joysticks of other brands dont offer.

If you dont find any website where you can download a decent profile you can use my profile.

But you will have to change some of the standard keys of your Flaming Cliffs 2.0 Game, as i optimized my profile for a german keyboard layout.

Foxy ( Programming software of the Cougar ) is only working with the american keyboard layout.. that caused some trouble with my german keyboard.

As everyone in my squadron uses the Cougar and we just downloaded FC2, rest assured several profiles will be available shortly. Most probably the first one will be for the A-10 and others will follow. Will post again as soon as the first one is available.

Nev

i am creating a macro-file for the a10a (everything except view- and multiplayer-commands) at this moment...

now i have a problem. i do not know the command for the left windows-key...

should i do the following? (i'm @ work and cannot test the file...)

E - LWin Flight - Complete mission and RTB =

comms_complete_rtb = <{LCTL ESC e}>

or is there any other way like "<{LWIN e}>"

MB: Intel DX79TO; Core i7 3820 (3,6 ghz); SPU: Asus Xonar D2X; GPU: AMD XFX 7970 BE OC (3GB); RAM: Kingston 8 GB DDR3-1333 Quad-Kit; HHDs: G.Skill Phoenix SSD (for OS&DCS), WD 1 TB + WD 160GB; PSU: be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 10 550W; Display: EIZO Foris 2333-BK; OS: WIN8 Pro 64bit (latest updates); TM HOTAS Warthog; CH Rudder pedals; Cougar MFDs; iPad Mini with iControl DCS; TrackIR4 + TrackClipPro.

You need use USB syntax.

USB (E7) rem right windowkey

USB (E3) rem left windowkey

Example:

Complete mission and RTB = USB (DE3 D08 U08 UE3)

In this example E3 is LWIN and and 08 is E. And the word D and U is Downkey and Upkey.

There is another way - you have to use the USB command for the windows-keys:

USB (E7) = right windowkey

USB (E3) = left windowkey

Your macro in this particular case would look like this:

comms_complete_rtb = USB (DE3 D08 U08 UE3)

I was scratching my head over the same thing as well, but Legolasindar's profile came to the rescue, so credits go to him.
