Suchacz Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 (edited) I would like to see this implemented in DCS World, it would bring a lot more immersion to the sim. And it would be great adition for the VR devices! Cykyrios Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I agree this would be extremely beneficial to immersion, and this is true for any first person (even third person) game. How many times did I play with friends online, only to hear their Huey starting up from only my left ear at full volume, while my right ear could not hear anything? Not only is this unrealistic, it also brings great discomfort, and forces one to either look directly at or away from the sound source to balance what each ear hears. The same is true for in-cockpit sounds, most notably the engine: looking to either side makes one ear lose sound. Now of course, this might be difficult to implement, but it would be a very welcome addition.
