After three or four years of use, my Pro Flight pedals' right brake seems to have become damaged.

Physically, the toe brake in question feels fine. The problem is that it only causes actual registrable input on my computer when I apply left rudder, and even then the amount of registered input(In other words, how far it sees the toe brake being pushed down)fidgets. However, the magnitude of the fidgeting seems to lessen the more left rudder I apply.

Does anyone know what exactly is broken? Could I fix it myself?

Thank you, but that's not the problem that I'm having. The problem doesn't only show in DCS World; it shows in any program I try using my pedals in and even in the Properties window(The one on the right side of your screen in the video that you posted). I could be wrong, but it is for these reasons that I believe that I'm experiencing a physical hardware failure within my pedals.

sounds like either the potentiometer or one of the wires leading to it got damaged, seeing as the right pedal does something when u adjust the left pedal, i'd say its just one of the wires broke, little piece of wire and some solder or a few twists and some electrical tape should fix it, and if not, a replacement pot would be 50 cents ....

my pedals fall out of the pivot their mounted in all the time, so im often taking my pedals apart... one time i ripped the left pedal wires right out because i dropped it... and tried to stop it from falling...
