How about they get the equipment we already have working?

Yes - that is true. I posted these partly out of simple interest. I was surprised by the AGS-17!

 

It'd be neat to have the S-24 of course - I wonder if a modder would like to do that? I once added them for the Ka-50 and they worked.

By the way - The S-24 now works in version 1.5 ...and it is a blast ...quite literally. It has really impressive recoil.

 

I've also added the UB-32 rocket pod ...however, I take it that I need to buy the L-39 or Mig-21 to get access to the UB16?

I don't think that you have to buy a module to get a weapon system, however, the allowed loadouts are typically hard-coded deep in the LUA files for each aircraft.

 

These can all typically be edited to allow non-standard payloads (e.g. Mk82 bombs can be fit to most anything) however the modification of these files will fail most multiplayer integrity checks as I understand it.

In DCS/Scripts/Database/planes and /helicopters are these Scripts to change available weapons for the Aircrafts. But I.e. for the L-39 you have to digg down a little deeper in the CoreMods folder.

For some reason I couldn't find the CSLID for the UV16/UB16 rocket pod.
