Thisdale Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Hey guys, My Warthog Joystick pretty much gave up yesterday. It happened suddenly while in flight with a P-51. The joystick became super loose, with no resistance in pitch and roll. I'm sure there's a way to somehow open this up and fix it. But i'm a bit lazy and decided to order a new one. I was wondering if someone knew of a market for these things? http://www.youtube.com/konotani Computer Specs: Z97X-gaming Mobo 4670k i5 24G DDR3 GTX 1080 Asus PG278Q Rog Swift 27-INCH G-SYNC Valve Index Thrustmaster Warthog Fanatec Clubsport Pedals (used as Rudders) Thrustmaster T300 Arcantera Wheel Obutto R3volution rig
FeistyLemur Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Only way I could picture that happening is the lip breaking off the disk where the big centering spring rides. You would have noticed that though because it would make a racket if that spring snapped down. Or maybe the lip on the main cup that tilts. It's really simple to pull apart and look. It might be as simple as getting a 30 dollar part from thrustmaster and you'll have a working base unit again. If not keep it for parts. I live in Canada, how much do you want for the whole broken stick?

Sokol1_br Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) Based on posts in this same forum seems that Tm sell replacement parts for some guys, but not for others. I wondered if this has relation on what part of the world the "bad luck" guy live... :) Edited September 4, 2016 by Sokol1_br

If anything, that's probably the one item to have as a backup.
