I doubt very much that January has anything to do with it, but unless the OP gives us some more information we can't really figure out anything.

Well just try to set a mission in january and proceed to your INS alignement: you will never have the good headings on your HUD.

Problem is there with hot start aswell.

Tryed with all the others months and january is the one and only were i meet this bug.

I'll check but I also need a copy of the mission you are using.

"Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."

"The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."

That's apparently still the problem in DCS 1.5.6.1938.247, the campaign has a few missions affected by this.

From the manual, the declination should be editable, but I couldn't change it (other similar posts say the same). Is there a special procedure? The manual is pretty discreete regarding the PCN ;) but I suppose editing this value is in the WIP part?

Yes, IRL it is editable.

No, no special procedure.

I'm not sure it's WIP.

Given DCS map sizes at this time (+ technical differences between old/new map) I'm not sure editing DEC is needed.

I mean, without this bug, would you have tried? ;)

There are other things to do with higher priority (IMO) than to make DEC user-editable.

I feel no need to change the DEC - except when I fly in January ;) but that's temporary.

I would probably have tried if I had taken the time to test everything while reading the manual, it's a tiny bit confusing to say it's editable, but nothing serious.

... and the date in the mission is editable, so we know what to do :D
