myHelljumper Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 I have noticed that the bullseye info on the VTB is not correct, see the attached screen shot. Helljumper - M2000C Guru Helljumper's Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3rTjezLUxPbWHvJJ3W2fA
Frederf Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 If I'm reading that screenshot correctly the system is configured to use the #1 waypoint as the BE and it is also the waypoint on the VTB under the cursors. And so the expected BE-to-cursor readout should be a very small distance but instead it is 9nm. If that's the case I wonder if INS drift is not being consistently applied. If for example you found the cursor placement that read 0/0 if that would happen to also be your INS misalignment (or it's opposite vector). Remind me is the BE readout in the lower left of the VTB supposed to be ownship-to-BE, BE-to-ownship, cursor-to-BE, or BE-to-cursor.
myHelljumper Posted September 25, 2016 Author Posted September 25, 2016 No INS drift, mission was just started and the info should be curs from bulls. Helljumper - M2000C Guru Helljumper's Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3rTjezLUxPbWHvJJ3W2fA

Zeus67 Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 I will check and fix the problem this week. So far, the Universe is winning." "The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."

WindyTX Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 In case you aren't aware if you want to check if this is fixed bring your curser to just above the bottom of the screen(so you dont change the rangescale)the readout should then approx equal your bullseye position if this is has been fixed. This is useful if you are using the Air to Air Tacan to keep together with your wingman. Thanks for the work Razbam, having a true Bulleye readout make a massive difference to multiplayer operations.
