Hyundae Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 (edited) The sea level, CAS speed is correct, compare with MACH speed. But The 30,000 feets, CAS speed is incorrect, compare with MACH speed. I think that the MACH 1.88 = CAS 750, It is correct. Edited October 8, 2019 by Hyundae
Hyundae Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 (edited) Attached track replay I attached track peplay. And, The acceleration seems to be a bit slow compared to the actual aircraft. The real aircraft with this condition, 200 cas -->750 cas, 138 seconds.f-16c ANGEL30 accel test.zip Edited October 8, 2019 by Hyundae
razo+r Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Hmm, and I hit Mach 2.01 at 36K feet and it shows me 631 knots :hmmm:
Bouli306 Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 If i look at the picture included in the first post and the example of flying at 36000ft M2.01 and 631 knots it seems that the HUD does not show CAS but EAS which is not correct because EAS does not account for compressibility of air.
Hyundae Posted October 9, 2019 Author Posted October 9, 2019 (edited) Alt 30k feets, CAS speed of HUD is not match instrument speed and MACH speed of HUD Sorry, but raise the issue again. Please explain in detail why this is not a bug. Attach screenshot. Edited October 9, 2019 by Hyundae
