  1. Nope PIMAX is running perfectly
  2. Yep stepped back to the PIMAX 8KX for now
  3. After suffering from stutters when I installed the 4090 I wrote a support ticket, with the following response from Varjo: Hello, Thank you for contacting Varjo support, I'm sorry to see you're having issues with your new 4090. We are aware of the issues that the 4090 cards are having with our HMDs. We are currently looking into it and will update you as soon as we have any additional information. We recommend using another GPU for now if you would like to use the Aero. We thank you for your patience. Regards, Thomas Customer Service Specialist Varjo Technologies
  4. You would have to align the INS on the parking spot where you want to shut down. Than after shutdown and startup you should be able to perform a stored heading alignment.
  5. Hello all, I have a problem only concerning Beta. Alpha runs fine. When joining multiplayer everything seems fine. Than after net sim post start shows the game crashes and goes back to desktop without faults reported. I will include logfile so maybe somebody can see what is going on? Did multiple repairs. tried pagefile but to no avail.. dcs log.txt
  6. But did you hear the speedbrakes in the Tempest?
  7. How would you know from any other person who says he has experience? Maybe tone down a bit budy. I was just stating what you hear IRL and that is......NOTHING.
  8. 350 backseat hours in the Viper... but go ahead....
  9. IRL the speedbrakes will not make sound in the cockpit. And outside you will not hear anything over the engine.
  10. The ignition comes from the engine alternator/generator so this is not done by the converters. But those do make noise, also the gyro of the stby AI makes sound as wel as the altimeter (internally a small hamer is 'tapping' on the bellow of the altimeter just like you would do on a barometer). The fuel pumps only run when main power is on the jet, so they will not run unless external power is applied or after the Main Gen is online..
  11. You are sort of true. When shutting down a Viper the AC gauges will stop functioning BUT will not go to zero but just stop updating. So the Fuel gauge should just remain in the position it is in when the Main gen drops offline... AC lies, DC dies.
  12. You are right but the LDG Warning horn will come on as well. The only time only the warning-warning will sound is when the TEF are not fully down.
  13. It will not produce a "warning warning" but the socalled LG Warning Horn which is an intermittend volume tone.
