Blaze Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 I just recently had to reinstall everything after a hard drive failure a week ago. With everything reinstalled and all my drivers back and updated, now the canopy glass in Lock-On is almost invisible. The default aircraft like the F-15 and Su-27's glass are still there because they don't use the "CanopyGlass" effect, but my L-39 and the Su-25T do, and they are almost non-existent. I didn't have this problem before...any suggestions? Before the crash: After the crash and a fresh install: Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Vekkinho Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 This usually happens on my rig only when I disable canopy scratches! Make sure it's on! BTW; great model! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
czarnyolek Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 This usually happens on my rig only when I disable canopy scratches! Make sure it's on! BTW; great model! Where do you disable that? Can find it in menu, only reflections in cockpit could be on or off.
Blaze Posted December 26, 2009 Author Posted December 26, 2009 Use LoCFG, there's a button to disable it. Well, it didn't work... AFAIK that only affects the internal canopy anyway. Plus before the crash, scratches on or off didn't matter the glass was showing up right. My guess is it's a gfx card setting or driver version that changed since my last install... I'll have to try an older driver. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Lucas_From_Hell Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Blaze, there is a MOD at Lock On files, I think (might be wrong), which does exactly this, it removes the scratches but doesn't make your canopy transparent. 1
Blaze Posted December 26, 2009 Author Posted December 26, 2009 Thanks! Had it in modman but one of the specshad files wasn't installed. All is good!:pilotfly: i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. PoleCat Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Here you go.......Back up the two files in the specified directory first and then over write with the included files. OutNo scratches.rar http://www.104thphoenix.com/

Blaze Posted July 10, 2010 Author Posted July 10, 2010 Try this one, this has the shaders in it that were missing in the other one. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. rattler Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Try this one, this has the shaders in it that were missing in the other one. Did not work. No texture in F2 view and in F1 view you see the actual texture. Unable to see through it. Goes from light gray looking out left to med gray view at top to just a shade darker than top view for the right in cockpit view. You can't see through this. Straight out the cockpit is fine because it is not part of the canopy.:helpsmilie:
