Hello.

The frames end up being invisible.

The immersion is brutal.

3x1 landscape is too narrow vertically.

3x1 portrait is a good balance.

5x1 is the perfect solution.

5x1 is also a good solution to extract (ABRIS and Shk) in full screen mode. Portrait 3x1 cab, and other monitors ABRIS and Shk.

Here is a solution for problems with HD6990. Last page.

Excuse my bad English.

That's also a lot of bezels.

Totally agree with you there.

I'm suprised we havent seen a viable* solution to this yet?

*something that costs the same as buying the individual monitors.

I use it with the 11.4 preview drivers 5870 eyefinity card

Nice ! This is similar to my goal! But I would like to incorporate projectors to get rid of the bezels.

This is also very impressive:

Notice that the monitors have a mixed size and aspect-ratio. Im very sure its a SoftTH setup.

You can also save a lot of trouble with a 37" to 42" 1900X1200 led FHD TV with time response near to 2ms. (i prefer 37 as the "pixels" aren t that streched" but i ve seen 3 42" on this forum and it was at least in the pictures breathtaking. (cockpit from metalandwood if i remember)

And save the monitor for instruments.

I agree that 3 WS monitors flatten all and t sucks.

HaF 922, Asus rampage extreme 3 gene, I7 950 with Noctua D14, MSI gtx 460 hawk, G skill 1600 8gb, 1.5 giga samsung HD.

Yes, I have 3x42" monitors at 1920x1080 and Gadroc has 3x46"ers

Because the resolution is kept manageable we get good framerates and can run a forth touchscreen for helios.

I get near 180 deg horz and still get very good vertical as I just zoom out until my fov suits. Resolution is not an issue, there is still lots of resolution at this monitor size.

Here is the one with iracing going, of course it looks better with the center mounted stick and touchscreen instead of the wheel :)

It really is a good compromise, only a couple bezels, out of the way of your main focal point, reasonable resolution, good fps.

The wide angle up close compresses things a bit but the screens are just under 9ft wide and when seated properly wrap around to just short of youreyes - probably about 175 degrees.

Excellent in iracing which renderes three screens separately so there is no distortion on the sides.

Personally I think your arrangement of eyefinity i.e. the 3 large screens is the best option atm, but seriously you must need to dedicate a whole room for that kind of setup :joystick:
