F-104 Announcement We are excited to announce the DCS: F-104 now under development with our third-party partners, Aerges! More than 2’500 of these fabulous interceptors were flown by 15 nations from the 1950s until 2004. The Lockheed F-104 was a lightweight, Mach 2 interceptor with phenomenal rate of climb and excellent roll rate thanks to its unique, high wing loading design. During its service, it set multiple performance records including airspeed, altitude, and time-to-climb. A hallmark of the “Century Series” of USAF aircraft, the F-104 will be a must have for DCS Cold War pilots. The Aerges Team is excited to present their upcoming DCS: F-104 module. Using the experience gained developing the DCS: C-101 Aviojet and the DCS: Mirage F1 modules, they will certainly deliver the most accurate simulation of this exceptional and iconic machine. Designed by the legendary Kelly Johnson, of P-38, U-2 and SR-71, the F-104 was initially designed to counter the threat posed by the MiG-15 over Korea, and later the MiG-17. Equipped with a single J79-GE-19 turbo jet installed in a very small and lightweight aircraft, the F-104 had excellent airspeed and acceleration qualities that outmatched aircraft of the same era. Armed with a 725-round M61A1 20mm autocannon and up to two AIM-9 Sidewinders, the F-104 was a within visual range fighter that relied on high-speed slashing attacks rather than turning dogfights due to its poor turn rates. Although optimized for the interceptor role, it could also be armed with unguided rockets and bombs for ground attack. An AN/ASG-14T1 ranging radar and fire control computer enabled the F-104 to search for aerial targets out to 40 nm and track them within 10 nm. The F-104 took part in the 1958 Taiwan Strait Crisis and played a deterrent force during the Berlin Crisis of 1961. Between 1965 and 1967, it flew 5,206 sorties during the Vietnam War. In 1971, Pakistani F-104s took part in the Indo-Pakistan War. Bye Phant

Aerges - Mirage F1 project update We are happy to announce you the development of Mirage F1 by Aerges Engineering SL. We can imagine your surprise for such news, but you shouldn’t be concerned, we have decided to work on Mirage F1 with Aerges instead of AvioDev for business reasons. Aerges Engineering is formed, mainly, by the same highly experienced Team components that have been developing the advanced version of the C-101. We are, basically, the same people. Some of the members have left and some are new, though they have already been working on C-101 for some time, but we keep the same core, the same or even more experience, know-how, enthusiasm and general technical knowledge. Furthermore, all the Team members are engineers and/or pilots. All this means that you can expect to get a Mirage F1 module with same or even higher level of precision, quality, attention to detail and professionalism than our previous module, the C-101. In this preview, we show you some screenshots of the Mirage F1-CE cockpit, with accurate and detailed 3D model and PBR textures, including some external AI models. And, in the coming weeks or months, we will continue presenting you screenshots and/or videos, as well as development news. We have been working on advanced flight model, engine and main aircraft systems coding for a year and a half. We can say it is, basically, completed, and we now have to work on systems interaction with cockpit, clickable cockpit, and specific aircraft systems. Our module is absolutely based on real data, that means that what you will get is the most accurate simulation that can be done of the real Mirage F1, with professional quality. What you will see is the real airplane with real data. Obviously, since what we use is real data, any real performance charts, like time to climb, energy-maneuverability, etc. will be fulfilled. The versions we are working on are all the Spanish Air Force versions, since those are the ones we have real info for, that is, Mirage F1-CE, Mirage F1-EE, Mirage F1-BE and Mirage F1-M, though the latter will take longer to be finished as it includes new avionics, which require a huge amount of additional work. We estimate to have first version, Mirage F1-CE, ready in Early Access in about half a year. We would think about doing other countries versions if we get real data for them, but it’s not part of our main target right now. For those of you who are not totally familiarized with this aircraft: The Mirage F1-CE is the basic single cockpit version, the Mirage F1-EE is the refuelling (multi-role) version, the Mirage F1-BE is the two seater and the Mirage F1-M is the modernized version with new avionics. Aerges hat laut Infos in ihrem Thread die Mirage F1 zum Testen ED übergeben. Dann wird es wohl Zeit hier einen Thread zur Mirage F1 zu erstellen. Und hier noch der Teaser zur Mirage F1

In my test myssion, Yankee TACAN on Mirage F1 doesn't work, but on F-18C and others its work. Did the test with channel 110Y. (!!! Important: In the C aucasus, everything works. I ran into a problem specifically in Syria. ) Attached test mission and track, it has two beacons TACAN - 55X and 55Y. When I set it to 55Y, it is ignored and the plane catches 55X Test.miz Y TACAN.trk

Really hyped for the plane it looks great! I'm sure you have a lot of work, but can we please get Royal Moroccan Air force skin for the Mirage F1CH Edit: Its already in the game

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I would like to start this thread in order to have one place where we can all contribute to the gathering of F1EQ documentation, cockpit photos, and other information regarding the Iraqis’ revered and infamous F1EQ, preferably the F1EQ-6, but all otherwise is welcomed. I hold the belief that, after the release of the BE and M, an F1EQ variant has been the most popular wishlist request for the Mirage F1 module. The F1EQ-6, the ultimate F1, was above and beyond in its capabilities, and was easily the most capable variant of the F1 from a Dassault factory. I would like for anyone interested in this project to contribute, whether by searching for documentation and pictures, or just having conversation and sharing information on the elusive F1EQ, in the hopes of catching Aerges’ eyes. I believe the F1EQ would be an incredible addition to DCS, considering its historical importance in the theatres of war seen in DCS, such as the Persian Gulf. The Scourge of the Persian Gulf, the Tomcat Killer, the infamous Mirage F1EQ! I do this, as I am personally a huge fan of the F1EQ, but also because I know that many other DCS: Mirage F1 fans are as well, and I want to have one place where Aerges can see all of us working together and showing that we do want an F1EQ, and that we, or me personally, would not mind paying extra, as it is a very advanced and complicated variant of the F1. Everyone is welcomed, so if anyone has any information, documentation, or pictures (cockpit or external), share it here!
