I have a few things that I don't use anymore for sale. Nothing absolutely has to go, but as I don't use it and it's just gathering dust, we should be able to come to a reasonable price. I'm based in the Netherlands. Shipping costs is yours to cover. If you're interested in anything, your best bet is to contact me through discord on #hankismymiddlename. Asking prices are about 60-70% of the new price. 1x WINWING ViperAce Metal Throttle Grip (you'll need the base) (new price €234.29) It'll go for €140,-. 1x WINWING Orion2 ViperAce(EX)Joystick Combo (new price €276.76) This'll go for €170,-. 1x MONSTERTECH Desk mount (new price €141.34) My price, €85,-. 1x WINWING Viper ICP (new price €193.75) Hornet UFC is not for sale! Special friendly price, €120,-. (SOLD) 1x MONSTERTECH Desk mount for WINWING MIP (new price €212.51) Looking for €100,-. UFC & MFD's are not for sale. 1x VIRPIL Z-Extension (new price €72.54) Friendliest price, €45,- (SOLD) 1x Logitech X52 "Pro" (new price €169,-) Please, never buy this new. It was fine'ish as a first joystick but you're way better off with something more high end. As I'll never use it again, it'll go for like €25,-.

I am trying to update my Orion2 joystick base, but SimAppPro won't let me without disconnecting the F16 JGrip. So, am I supposed to take it apart just to update? I have never run into this issue before with this HOTAS. I added some screen grabs for clarity.

Tuesday I finally switched to a Winwing Orion 2 flight stick and throttle, from whatever I was using before. I now sometimes see an extreme pitch-up when taking off, mainly from a carrier, which I didn't experience before. I've been doing everything the same (although they may have been things I shouldn't have been doing) - I reset the FCS and then I click the take-off trim button. Sometimes I even spread the wings when I'm on the carrier. (Kidding.) Am I doing something wrong? I don't want to be the subject of a Grampa Pettibone story.

Hi guys New here, so I start with a noob question My first experience with combat flight sims dates back to 1990, with «Jet» on my Amiga. Spent some time on WW2 sims, after a long break I am trying to engage myself with DCS now. I have real flying experience (having flown commercially in Business Aviation), but no experience in modern combat flight sims. Decided that my old X52 is not fit for DCS, thought of getting a Thrustmaster Warthog, but I am currently favouring either the WinWing Orion 2 Max (F-16EX stick with shake kits and Finger lift for the Orion 2 dual throttle) WinWing Orion 2 Metal (w/o shake kits and Finger lift) WinWing Orion 2 Hotas F/A Super Hornet I am not interested in a particular aircraft, guess the F/A-18 or A-10 would be a good start. Dual throttle is a must. I am a bit unsure which of the above sticks you recommend; are the finger lifts on the WinWing Orion 2 Max a «must have»? I don’t mind using an F-16EX stick while flying a Hornet in DCS. What do you think regarding a decent throttle/stick for a DCS newcomer? Thanks! [PS: I initially errorenously posted this questions in the PC Hardware forum, apologies for my mistake]

Hello, I just received my Orion 2 F/A-18 HOTAS yesterday and I was setting it up last night. When I fired up DCS, the radar elevation controller on the throttle was for some reason bound to throttle, and I could move it up and down and I could see that DCS was registering my input. However... as soon as I unbound the radar elev. controller from throttle, I could not get it to work again with any other axis command in DCS. So, I checked Simapp Pro and sure enough it wasn't registering any input from the radar elev. controller (z-axis) at all. I tried literally everything possible-- firmware update, restore default config, unplug and plug back in (both the base and the right throttle itself) and nothing has worked. When I move the axis nothing shows up in Simapp pro or DCS. What's wrong? Any ideas? Did I just get a bad unit? it was working at first.... I of course also tried calibrating the axis to no avail. Every single other button on the throttle grip and base works.

I ran an original Orion for over a year and decided to upgrade to the Orion 2 since I can customize it with cams, springs and dampers. After getting it set up and flying for a few hours I noticed that there is a dead spot for the x and y axis. I do not have a dead spot set in either the DCS axis tune or the Simapp. I am also using the 18 cm extension on it's lowest setting which places the top of the grip at 13 inches from the top of the base. I can move the grip in any direction at least a 1/2 inch before it registers any movement. With my previous Orion and same extension the slightest move would register. The latest firmware has been installed. Bad Hall sensor? Thank you in advance for any insight!
