MadCow Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Does anyone know how to disengage the toggle setting for the brake (if it's in the sim)? I don't have rudder pedals so I use a button on my Saitek x45. Previously, I was required to press and hold the button for the breaks to apply. Currently, I just press the button once and the breaks are on until I press the button again. I don't believe there's an issue with the saitek profiler software, but I'll be checking that when I get home from work. Wanted to through this out there to cover all the bases in case there was an option in DCS World controller config settings that I'm some how missing.
ricktoberfest Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Make sure in the saitek profiler that the button is not latched
MadCow Posted February 3, 2014 Author Posted February 3, 2014 Ahh, good catch. I'll check that soon as I'm home. Does this mean there's no DCS config option that does this same behavior?
ricktoberfest Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I don't know, but this happened to me and was screwing up many commands cause I accidentally latched one button and it was modifying the other presses 1
MadCow Posted February 3, 2014 Author Posted February 3, 2014 Bingo, that was the problem rick. Not sure how I managed to do that, but thanks for the pointer. Rep inbound.
badger66 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 The airbrake was variable in FC2 on the F-15C , any reason this was not carried forward as it was useful ?
Buzzles Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 The airbrake was variable in FC2 on the F-15C , any reason this was not carried forward as it was useful ? Airbrakes (speedbrakes) on the A10C are variable. This thread was about the wheel brakes. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
