splash Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Hi, Could you please tell me what is the hoist control in cyclic for? There is a similar control in collective labelled "Search Cont Ext", with "<-L" and "R->" below it what i don't know what is for neither. Thanks.
A229th Reaper Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 (edited) Actually Splash they are self explanatory. Hoist switch controls the up/down movement of the hoist. (not fitted on our uh-1h) some huey's had a hoist mounted inside the right door And the control on the collective you ask about controls the search light mounted in the belly of the uh-1h (this is on our sim and is functional as is the landing light also on the collective) The light towards the nose is the landing light, the one just behind the the skid fore cross tube is the search light, (and just incase someone asks the hook is the cargo hook not the hoist) Hope this clears things up for you. Edited February 5, 2014 by A229th Reaper What system?...Not quite sure, I think its a 64bit system cause the keyboard says 'Commodore64'.

OK!!!! Hoist=elevator. Very clear now, many thanks.
dahui Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 OK!!!! Hoist=elevator. Very clear now, many thanks. Yes.. a quite expensive Elevator :D
splash Posted February 5, 2014 Author Posted February 5, 2014 And... one more question. I know that now you have to start engine by pressing HOME key and not the black button on the collective, but, where is the switch/button for starting the engine in the collective? I was looking for it but no luck. Maybe it's hidden.
Flamin_Squirrel Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 It's on the underside of the collective iirc.
A229th Reaper Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) As Flamin_Squirrel said its on the underside of the collective, Its like a trigger switch. Edited February 6, 2014 by A229th Reaper What system?...Not quite sure, I think its a 64bit system cause the keyboard says 'Commodore64'.
splash Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 Ok, it's a pity but I couldn't program it so in my CH ProThrottle. Thanks for the diagram!
A229th Reaper Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 splash; what problem are you having programing to your throttle? What system?...Not quite sure, I think its a 64bit system cause the keyboard says 'Commodore64'.
splash Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 splash; what problem are you having programing to your throttle? No problem really, thanks for your interest! I'd like to have a "trigger" in my CH ProThrottle but anyway I can program "HOME" in any button. I have to think on how to arrange the rest of the controls.
