Invincible Enemy

Bug description

 

I've noticed this happening every once and awhile -- at a certain point in a mission, some enemy groups seem indestructible -- see video -- I even made myself invulnerable with unlimited weapons and still could not kill anything in the group at point blank range. I went thru all of my AP and HE rounds.

 

Steps to reproduce / Conditions of occurence

did you shoot vikhrs, because as far as i know the only way to kill a tank with the 2a42 is to shoot it in the back with AP ammo, but ive never tried it against a challanger, which is the most armoured tank in the game.

I haven't tried infinite ammo but I have experienced the same thing. I just finished a mission in oil war where I hit an M1A2 with one vikhr and all of my AP and HE rounds from a little over 1 km away and it was still fine.

I have encountered the same thing on the =WAR= server. Some groups of Russian tanks based around FARPS are indestructible, and whats more you can't even lock onto them with Mavericks or Vikhrs.

Yes I had this also and solved it by redooing the unit group by adding it as a template, delete the original group and then add the new one from the template. Missions get broken from one version to the next.
