CrackerJack Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 To the Trainers, I apologize but I will not be able to participate. Even though I'm self employed I have to attend to those who allow me pay my bills when they want my service. I'm really bummed! Is there a chance that you might make a video of the training. Cheers! Sephki Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Thanks again for running that! It was great learning the systems in a little more detail. I forgot to remind about Hydraulics though, my bad.
Fakum Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Yes, thank you guys, I picked up a couple of good pointers on the engine fail to start and what to do about it,, thanks,, looking forward to the next one. ralfidude Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Ah shit, the hydraulics, yeah. Well, if we do an emergency procedures tutorial then I can explain then, but it's VERY important information about the Hydraulics in emergency situations that you should know about. Live-Dimension Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Oh well, shit happens lol. Thankyou for the very and extremely in-depth lesson. Learned a few things I wasn't sure about and especially how to configure the datalink. Thanks again guys!
Sephki Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Dimension was able to send me a full audio recording of the session. If we have people's consent we'd be happy to post publicly.

ralfidude Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 We potentially could do it, but we wouldn't be able to do it in the air. I can walk you through the steps on where the handles are and all that jazz but I might as well just write it up instead. Most of the emergency stuff is covered already in some youtube tutorial or other. As for Hydraulics, here is the deal: You have 2 hydraulic systems, so if you lose the: LEFT Hydraulics then you lose - Flaps - Nosewheel steering - Gear - Wheel breaks - Anti-skid - Hydraulic control of the left elevator and rudder actuators - Dual channel pitch and yaw SAS If you lose your RIGHT hydraulic system, then you lose: - Slats - Air refuel slipway and nozzle hatch rollers - Speed Breaks - Right elevator and rudder actuators - Dual channel pitch and yaw SAS Knowing that stuff is pretty important with an engine out, as an engine out will cause hydraulics to fail for that side. This way you can prepare for a landing and not be surprised that you suddenly can't drop your gear or what not. 1 [sIGPIC]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/ralfidude/redofullalmost_zpsa942f3fe.gif[/sIGPIC]

Sephki Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 How do you play this type of file? If you're using a more up to date operating system you should have ogg vorbis support out of the box. If not, I suggest foobar2000 for Windows, mplayer for *nix and OSX. Private message me if you have any further issues with it. Cheers
sobe Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 The windows programs that came with Win7 had problems with the file, but Foobar 2000 worked fine. ralfidude Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 ogg is a media file, so you play it with a regular windows media player. I use windows media player classic. It's a simplified version of windows media which includes A LOT of different codecs that are not available by default on the regular windows media. ryguy101077 Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 ONLINE TRAINING Are there any servers that offer training in the A10C only? If there are, can you list them? I really want to learn how to fly DCS A10C, but the tutorials that are included with this sim are not adequate. Another reason I want to learn is A10C will become a stepping-stone in understanding the other sims that will be release for DCS World in the future. Any information will be very useful. :helpsmilie: Thank You.

But you might probably also want to browse the forum(s) here - there are tons of material there. Look out for the sticky threads. For example: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60293
