Scarecrow Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please integrate Average pilots SimFFB into DCS World. The ability to set the dampener, friction and spring force is much better than the current implementation. :)
Huckle Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Yes please. Great little program, also use it to reload FFB without having to unplug stick.
P1KW Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I subscribe the petition. With simFFB a very realistic and natural control is achieved in ForceTrim helicopters. And also extend the request to change the control of the pedals on the Ka-50. Should be similar to the UH-1H and Mi-8 MTV2. I understand that not everyone has a joy FFB, or that not everyone takes away spring to the pedals. But the difference is huge. Anyway, I am sure that PilotMi8, has had contact with AveragePilot (the author) with the idea of integrating it. Greetings! "If adventure is dangerous, try the routine. It is deadly." Paulo Coelho.
Suchacz Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Definitely +1 Per aspera ad astra! Crucial reading about DCS: Black Shark - Black Shark and Coaxial Rotor Aerodynamics, Black Shark and the Trimmer, Black Shark – Autopilot: Part 1, Black Shark – Autopilot: Part 2
Cnuke Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) The ffb implementation in DCS is eating my frames/sec almost by half. Especially in the P51. So something has to be done about it anyway. :music_whistling: So I disabled it and only use simffb because that doesn't impact the fps at all. Also it's really fantastic to adjust all the settings to your liking. Great program! +1 for integration Edited March 17, 2014 by Cnuke
Dustoff74 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 +1 I would really love to see an upgrade of the ffb functionality. simFFB seems to be a good starting point. Especially the updated center position, so we ffb users can use curvatures. That would be a great help in helicopters without having to extend our joysticks with plumbing or garden hoses :smilewink: Rock 'n' Roll! Henning
