Kaiser78
When sending my buddy my spi over the net he accepts the tasking and it's never correct when he looks in his mfcd. I know this was a problem long ago but is anybody still having issues with this?
Blooze
I fly MP missions every day and have no issues with the accuracy of SPIs. You hook the SPI first in the TAD then slave your TGP to it. Edited March 19, 2014 by Blooze [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Kaiser78
Yeah it's always off. Doesn't matter if he sends me or I send him.
Irregular programming
Are you lasing the target to get the right elevation?
Kaiser78
No I am not lasing. I find the target in my tgp and tms up short to lock. Then tms up long to make it my spi. Hook my wingman in my tad and send. If I need to lase when would that need to be done? Before I tms up short to lock?
kk0425
Are you letting the full alignment to happen when you first start the plane? On the alignment page it should say 4.0 0.8 and flashing. AFAIK if you do an in air alignment it's not as accurate.
Wrecking Crew
It does work. There is no problem with the function. When your buddy finds the SPI on the TAD then they need to bring the TAD cursor over onto it, make that *their* SPI and then slew the TGP or MAV to that. Good to make a Mark Point right away, too, so you don't lose the location. WC Visit the Hollo Pointe DCS World server -- an open server with a variety of COOP & H2H missions including Combined Arms. All released missions are available for free download, modification and public hosting, from my Wrecking Crew Projects site.
Kaiser78
Yeah we do all of those things. Maybe it's my wingman goofing up somewhere. It wouldn't be the first time. It was working for the longest time. Maybe he did something different.
Kaiza
I havent played A-10C for a while, but when I left, yes this was a bug and has been since the first beta. It is a bug with the elevation data which causes the SPI to look like it is moving. It doesn't seem to always appear, just certain areas. EDIT: The work around we used to use was to get your buddy to drop a markpoint on top of the received data. This will correct the elevation and give him a good point. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=75765&highlight=Broadcast It has been reported: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89833&highlight=Spi http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1790012#post1790012 Edited March 20, 2014 by Kaiza [url=http://www.aef-hq.com.au/aef4/forumdisplay.php?262-Digital-Combat-Simulator][SIGPIC]http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/2500/a10161sqnsignitureedite.png[/SIGPIC][/url]
