WildBillKelsoe Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 The 1.2.8 changelog for news on oculus rift support mentions support without GUI (meaning no software code like trackIR's). I'm inclined to buy one and shell extra in place of my broken-fixed-back-breaking trackIR 4 pro. It's just that they keep saying 'don't buy the developer version if you're consumer' that puts me off... why would they say something like this if non-developers in this community already bought the darn thing and shell videos on youtube? Probably because they consider the current version to be less than 'ready for prime time' and don't want too many disapointed customers who were expecting a better experience. Rather like this disclaimer/warning from a recent Alpha game release. :) ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP!
