What amazes me is that the features the realism purists chase after are the ones they admire from unrealistic perspectives. Yes, during all maneuvering where any of these effects will be noticed a pilot will be looking directly at his payload lamenting at how it doesn't shake as he shifts his g load. Oh yeah- just looking over my shoulder while engaged with an opponent who is forcing me to angle and dangle with angels and the check six I do is to appreciate the shake of my weapons.

Gee. I sure hope ED pours the coal on this feature.

Fail.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't agree less with anything you have just said. You cant see most of the aircraft you are in when you are flying it, does that mean ED waisted their time modelling it all? Just because you won't necessarily see such effects all of the time is no reason not to include them. Physical effects will add to the immersion no end imo and are a must for DCS world to secure its place as the best military sim on the market. They will also work wonders for videos and advertisements which will draw in even more customers.

I'd say it shouldn't be a priority now - there are more important things to fix.

Down the line though, sure. Who doesn't love a bit of eye candy...

The thing you have to take into account though is the time it takes to implement these features for all aircraft.

Also, as soon as we get one thing some people want something else.

We've already had wingtip vortices, wing flex, engine smoke and touchdown smoke improved in the last year alone.

I agree..its definitely not critical. I would rank vehicle/building damage/explosion fx are more important than this. ED are doing a good job with improving things. Can't wait to see how EDGE turns out.
