RagnarDa Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I hope I haven't done something wrong but I can't get the ATC to respond anymore on the R-862. Checked with 1.2.7 and works there. Tried cold and hot start at Mozdok, Batumi and Sukhumi. Can anyone confirm? DCS AJS37 HACKERMAN There will always be bugs. If everything is a priority nothing is.

Cibit Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I was contacting krymsk, Tbilisi and batumi yesterday without issues. I did have some problems initially and spammed switches in no sort of order because I figured I had done something wrong. It worked soon after and I put it down to pilot error i5 8600k@5.2Ghz, Asus Prime A Z370, 32Gb DDR4 3000, GTX1080 SC, Oculus Rift CV1, Modded TM Warthog Modded X52 Collective, Jetseat, W10 Pro 64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Adding JTAC Guide //My Vid's//229th AHB
RagnarDa Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 (edited) Can't contact ATC in 1.2.8 RC1 Thanks for looking at it! I will try again soon and report back. It's only that I did the exact same thing in 1.2.7 and then they responded without issues. I have been trying to spam switches too but didn't work. If anyone can confirm that they can consistently contact the tower then maybe the mods can delete this thread? Edited April 12, 2014 by RagnarDa DCS AJS37 HACKERMAN There will always be bugs. Phantom453 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Having similar problems as well. Comes up with the R-862 on the radio menu, but no answer from ATC. Turning the squelch on and off seems to indicate the radio is working.
Cibit Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Your using the fm am switch ? i5 8600k@5.2Ghz, Asus Prime A Z370, 32Gb DDR4 3000, GTX1080 SC, Oculus Rift CV1, Modded TM Warthog Modded X52 Collective, Jetseat, W10 Pro 64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Adding JTAC Guide //My Vid's//229th AHB
Phantom453 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 (edited) Your using the fm am switch ? Thanks Cbit. That was it. Mi-8 now starts with the switch in the FM position in 1.2.8. (note to self - more attention to detail!):music_whistling: Edited April 13, 2014 by Phantom453 1
CTD-Martin Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I did everything that was described in this thread and I still can't get the ATC to respond/the radio to work. I have put the switch to the "Radio" position and after i press the trigger/mic switch it still says Interphone where it should say R-863. 3D modeler at Coretex Designs
CTD-Martin Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Fixed it. Don't switch the laryngophone to on :) 3D modeler at Coretex Designs
