What was???

Pilot error can help other pilots.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

I had a problem with the Huey not taking off either, but I sat back, troubleshot it down to my problem, and just started it first.. Who knew??

Ok sure, maybe it will help. :)

I fly on the 104th Multiplayer server. They have their Huey's over weighted in default loadouts.

I go to adjust my fuel and make the Huey lighter - however - if you touch any other buttons - like say the batts, doors, radios or something/anything else before requesting a loadout change nothing changes. You have to ask for load out change before you touch anything else. Maybe an ED bug or something.

I thought I was changing my loadout and I could not get it off of the ground. However I had started my radios so loadout was not changing - thought it was a Beta problem in the Huey. Just had to change my procedure. Touch nothing before changing loadout....sorted. :)

I, for one, did not know that. Glad you posted it.

The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...

Awesome, glad joey called me out on it then. Again might just be something local to my setup or something.

Also note to self - You can not land a helo on top of the ground covered bunkers at Vaziani, hehe, you will drop right into it. I was enjoying watching all of the FCliff guys taking off from Vaziani - - thought I would land on top of the AC bunker and watch but fell right into it.

Noticed: The FC guys take off in the wrong direction allot; more than the hardcore guys. Seems Rwy 14 means Rwy 32 in FC world. Loads of near misses. Again maybe I am the one in the wrong...?

You can only change loadout when you have your doors open (talk to ground crew outside)

or

Set your radio-selector switch to "INT" interphone. (talk to ground crew through radio)

Another thing that can help - in helicopters, you can request a refuel-rearm with the engines turning at full rpm. You cant do this in fixed wing.
