SafetyTurtle Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 So I've used my X52 pro stick and throttle for some time now and all of a sudden it's starting to behave strangely. It behaves like it only have two settings: in the middle and full forward. I dunno exactly how to explain it differently and don't know how to fix it or how it even happened. Physically the throttle is pulled all the way back but in the game and in the control panels it acts as if it starts in the middle. Hope someone can help me figure out how to solve this...I've already tried re-installing the software and driver.
ED Team NineLine Posted April 24, 2014 ED Team Posted April 24, 2014 Have you checked the axis in windows to see if its ok? Does it work ok in other games? Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
SafetyTurtle Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 Looks to be the same in WarThunder at least. When I go into the control panel I see this: So must be something to do with the software perhaps, as the throttle axis here says that it's centered.
ED Team NineLine Posted April 24, 2014 ED Team Posted April 24, 2014 When you move the throttle its nice and smooth in control panel? Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
SafetyTurtle Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 Yeah, as soon as I move it a mm it matches the physical movements exactly.

Must be something to do with the X52 software then, I am not familiar with that though, so I am afraid I cant be much help there. Blooze Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Are you using an activated Saitek profile or relying on the DCS Options mapping? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SafetyTurtle Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 I have no profile installed, never even looked at that.
Blooze Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 I have no profile installed, never even looked at that. There are a couple of things you might try that won't cause any harm. Go to your saved games/DCS/Config/Input/A-10 folder and delete the joystick folder. Then fly any mission and a new one will be created. If that doesn't help you can also try a DCS repair from the Start/All Programs/Eagle Dynamics menu. Sometimes that works to solve some issues. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SafetyTurtle Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 Didn't help anything sadly...no idea how this happened.
Blooze Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Didn't help anything sadly...no idea how this happened. If it were me I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers next. If you do be sure to unplug the stick before you reinstall. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SafetyTurtle Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 Already tried that, but worth trying again I guess.
txmtb Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Maybe peruse this thread, http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=42462 , there are some things in there to clear calibration in windows etc... Check the ...Still everything 'not right' and not working? --OK, now read on: Win 10 64 Pro, MSI Z390 I7-9700K @5ghz Kraken Z63, 32Gb Corsair Dominator, MSI RTX-2070, 1TB NVME 2TB SSD's, TM Warthog, Pro Rudders, OpenTrack w/ IR Clip
SafetyTurtle Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 Yes I've looked at that and that section in particular, but the links given are dead. I sort of know what the problem is, but not why it happened or how to fix it...the computer simply reads the throttle as being centered, it shows that in the saitek X52 controle panel.
txmtb Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 (edited) Sorry, didn't check the links before posting it. I thought the Clear Calibration Utility might have helped. The utility is made by Logitech and still available on their FTP site: ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/joystick/ Filename is lws_clrc.exe and there is a readme with extension .txt in there also that you should read. Best of luck! Edited April 24, 2014 by txmtb Win 10 64 Pro, MSI Z390 I7-9700K @5ghz Kraken Z63, 32Gb Corsair Dominator, MSI RTX-2070, 1TB NVME 2TB SSD's, TM Warthog, Pro Rudders, OpenTrack w/ IR Clip
SafetyTurtle Posted April 24, 2014 Author Posted April 24, 2014 Just ran it, said no calibration data was found.
