Think I've narrowed it down some more. Apparently it only causes problems on the "Cold and dark" instant mission. I can set up the AWLS fine and all but when I turn it on, I don't get the horizontal and vertical "landing lines" (forgot the correct term). So not that bad really, just a bit odd.

Dunno how to post track or mission files I'm afraid. I've tested it in the harrier on all airfields that have ILS and it works fine if I start on the runway or in the air, but when I start cold and start up the plane myself, it doesn't work all of a sudden. Dunno if it's something that needs to "heat up" or some such.

It seems the problem occurs when I do a cold start, so I may be doing something wrong during the startup process, but can't quite figure out what that could be. Have followed all startup instructions I could find.

For some reason, I just can't get the AWLS to work in the Harrier and I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or if it just doesn't work with all airfields. I click the AWL button on the UFC, type in the number for the airfield and click "on" but the iconography doesn't appear on the hud. Is there anything else I should be doing?

I recently got it and it's pretty dang cool even though it's not finished. This is without a doubt my primary module I'll be flying in DCS from now on, absolutely love it...but then again I'm heavily biased as the AV8B has always been my top favorite jet.

Hello. Just got the Harrier today and loving it but not quite sure about the radio. I'm trying to contact tower to engine startup and all that, but none of the preset freq's seem to match and I'm a bit confused as to how I can change the frequency if at all, to be able to contact ATC. Anyone who might be able to help out?

Got it working, as I suspected, I did something wrong but it should be working now. Now I just need to find out what the correct pronunciation is for certain words as voice attack doesn't seem fond of my accent or voice ^^ *edit* Now all of a sudden, when I press the shortcut to bring up the configuration menu, Voice Attack stops...anyone had this problem before?

Yeah I have no problem assigning keys, it's just my hotas buttons it won't accept it seems.

It might very well be. Found out I had to enable my joystick in the options, did that and it still won't recognize the presses so may have to go to the forum. Cheers.

I may just have missed something completely, but I can't seem to change what button on my I've gone into the "edit profile" and tried changing the TX1 key but it won't accept any new input. I dunno what I'm doing wrong.

Oh if only I had the cash...probably wouldnt fit my big noggin anyway :p

Sounds interesting and after getting some training in the Viggen I may very well sign up ^^ Though I don't have a lot of experience with DCS. Also, I'm not Swedish, but Danish...but I do understand a bit of Swedish :p

When you say "experienced"...how much experience are we talking?

Seeing as you're in Denmark I really wish I could help you guys somehow, sadly, I know very little about computers and electronic stuff ^^

We have flown before actually...I do need to do some touch up on the A10, it's been a while.

So I've been into DCS for a while but I seem to fall away from it once in a while and sometimes finding it hard to stick with it as it gets a tad boring on my own, so thought it was about time I found someone to fly with. I only fly the Hog and Eagle, nothing else really captures my interest till the Hornet comes out so mainly looking for someone interested in those modules. Would also like someone who can teach as I still consider myself a noob and who's into using all the right "lingo" etc as I'm all about immersion. Also very interested in trying some PVP, especially in the Eagle so someone well versed in this would be great as I have no real experience with that. I'm from Denmark so someone around that timezone would be prefered. Hope there's someone out there who's interested and will gladly give some more info if needed.

Good things are worth waiting for ^^ Just wanted an update or some such...looking forward to what you'll come up with. Seeing as there's both a Hornet stick and DCS module in the works, will you be making something for that in the way of gauges as well?

Awesome to hear and I think your plans sound great and I hope they work out. I would personally prefere to do everything myself, but have to realize I can't do everything ^^ And it's always cool to meet "local" pitbuilders...may have to figure out a way to do a Lan at one point ;)

Personally I would be interested in a full UFC, CDU and counteremeasure panel. Maybe even panels for the rest but without all the electronics and switches etc. One thing I've thought for a while would be very cool is if someone sold a "complete panel pack", no electronics or switches or anything of the sort but just the acrylic panel itself, painted, with lettering and then the buyer could do the rest. Always happy to support fellow Danes though!

I use the keyboard, which basicly limits me to only using rudder when I taxi. Trying to save up for some rudder pedals though...sadly, I'm rather picky.

I see absolutely no reason not to go with the resin if it's just as solid, feels just as good and is more true to the real deal. When the F18 module comes out, if it's for me, I'll gladly order a set from you!
