javelina1 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I went through the update this morning, and have been flying the A-10C just fine. So I took the Huey out for a spin. But I'm having issues. From the cockpit, looking out front, I see nothing but orange, and grid. Stuff that says "text" etc. But if I turn my head (via trackIR 5), to the back of the chopper, I can see the open side doors, and all looks good. When I go to the F2 or F3, the external views look just fine. It's only when I'm in the cockpit, looking out front or to my left or right, I see nothing but orange and the gird. any ideas as to what's up? I did have one Huey mod, but I pulled it out via JSGME. javelina1 Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 I did both the repair, and then reapplied the Huey.exe via the DCS website. I no longer have the orange screen and grid in front of my cockpit. But when I scan back to look at the rear of the chopper, I can see the engine, and the open airfield. There are no rear seat or textures for the rear of the chopper. But if I go to F2 or F3, the rear 1/2 of the chopper look just fine. really weird. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted April 28, 2014 ED Team Posted April 28, 2014 if it was me I would remove the UH-1H from the module manager close down, delete the UH-1H folder in C:\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H Then restart login to the module manager and reselect the UH-1H and it will download a fresh module. javelina1 Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 thanks M8, I followed your steps. What I notice now is that when I'm in the right seat, everything looks great. But when I switch to the left seat, I'll look back at the rear seats, etc, and I see no textures. Just the engine, which is weird. Not sure why I don't see the full internal view of the Huey, whilst in the left seat. really weird. javelina1 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 do you have any view or head position mods installed ? No mods installed at all for the Huey. Just the A-10C. Lizzard Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 No mods installed at all for the Huey. Just the A-10C. BIGNEWY means the "proper Neck" Mod from PeterP...that seems to cause Problems with the Huey sometimes My Specs: I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one..
javelina1 Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 I enabled the Peter P neck thingy with my A-10C, but never the Huey, nor any other DCS module. But I'll walk through it, to double check. javelina1 Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 this so weird. I've gone into module manager, removed the Huey, and deactivated it. Double check that DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Uh-1H is gone, (it is). I also removed the Uh-1H from my user saved games profile as well. I then go back and reinstall the game via the .exe, and then reactive within the Module manager. when I'm in the right seat, everything looks great. But when I switch to the left seat, I'll look back at the rear seats, etc, and I see no textures. Just the engine texture, and the whole open view of the airfield and runway. Like the whole @ss end of the Huey was cutaway from it's backside. Not sure why I don't see the full internal view of the Huey. Maybe another sub folder I need to remove, when uninstalling, so that I get a clean Huey install to load up the right textures?
