javelina1 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Needing a little help. I've searched, and keep getting external light commands. I'm attempting a night ramp start. so there I sit, completely dark in my cockpit. I can't see the emergency flood light switch to flick it. What is the keyboard command to turn on your cockpit lighting? PFunk1606688187 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 You could always use your NVGs to find it? EDIT. And a quick glance at my in game controls tells me that there is no default binding for either the Emergency Flood switch nor for any of the lights on the Lighting Panel. Only lights I know of that you can key by default are external. Warning: Nothing I say is automatically correct, even if I think it is.
javelina1 Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 should've thought of my NVG... I'll try that. this is my first night flight... :music_whistling: MSI MAG Z790 Carbon, i9-13900k, NH-D15 cooler, 64 GB CL40 6000mhz RAM, MSI RTX4090, Yamaha 5.1 A/V Receiver, 4x 2TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe, 1x 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD, Win 11 Pro, TM Warthog, Virpil WarBRD, MFG Crosswinds, 43" Samsung 4K TV, 21.5 Acer VT touchscreen, TrackIR, Varjo Aero, Wheel Stand Pro Super Warthog, Phanteks Enthoo Pro2 Full Tower Case, Seasonic GX-1200 ATX3 PSU, PointCTRL, Buttkicker 2, K-51 Helicopter Collective Control
Snoopy Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Emergency flood light switch next to the battery switch. Learn the layout and you don't need to see it to click it :D v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website
txmtb Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 The control is Emergency Flood in the Electrical Panel settings. I used to have it bound to my stick shift button and L. Then I put NVG's on my stick and don't need it anymore. Hope you enjoy the night flight, the first one I did really got me hooked, incredible how good it looks at night.
