Davis0079 Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 dont like the FC cockpits....but it what I have to work with.... ...quick question....does the FC3 F-15c have an expanded radar fov that would normally be controlled by the pinky switch on a hotas....for multi targets in TWS, it would be nice to expand the radar screen to properly pick though enemy formations..... ...I can't seem to find anything on this in the manual...and I'm use to doing this in other aircraft...mainly high fidelity F-16s made by other projects... It only takes two things to fly, Airspeed and Money.

RCTRL+"+" RCTRL+"-" but not in TWS mode ;) or you need to decrase range of the radar, but the answer for your question is NO. Try the +plus and - minus keys on the keyboard for radar ranges, I think this is what you're looking for. Davis0079 Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 not range.....i got that under control.....in the F-16 once locked onto a target you could zoom in the radar screen with one click....making it possible to see clusters of targets at long range...and sort through them.... .....the answer seems to be no, you cannot map a radar fov to the pinky switch.... p.s.....if you ever played BMS you would know what I speak of.... It only takes two things to fly, Airspeed and Money.

joey45 Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Differnt radars? The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Saruman Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 So, the real f15 hasn't any way to declutter contacts on the radar?!
lunaticfringe Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 It does, however the implementation of it isn't necessarily known to ED. I can give you the method for RAM (Raid Assessment Mode), but the follow on, I haven't the diagrams for. And RAM wasn't used after the late 80s.
