"Esc" to check lobby kicks me out of plane

Sometimes when I press ESC to check the game lobby, I get randomly kicked out of my current plane slot and placed into one at the top of the list, effectively ending my play session.

 

Is anyone familiar with this problem, or how to fix it?

Hmmmm server may have what I call a MIST AI script in place to prevent people from plane hopping in modules they don't own. Which server is this is?

 

Sometimes the script kicks people back to spectators when they leave the cockpit... But not always.

104th's server. it's not a massive issue as you can simply use the score list to see players, but still problematic as inadvertently pressing esc can randomly kick you out of your plane

Just be sure your mouse cursor is at the very top or bottom of your screen before you hit ESCAPE. If your cursor just happens to be in the same spot as an aircraft slot it will do that.

Hmm mm they may actually have that running- shadow was the guy who put me onto it so not sure if he runs with the 104th.

I haven't spent any time on the 104th, so not sure if they are running that script or not. That should not remove someone from their aircraft just for going to the lobby. But if going to the lobby causes the server to lose track of the player, and the name blanks out, then that can cause it to happen, but only when a server event occurs, as that is when the script runs its check.

I used to see guys kicked just for going to f2 or f6 to watch a missile shot... so that's what made me wonder.
