Hi, i am not sure what this is called exactly. but most fighter jest have this.

it is used in dogfighting where you need to have eye contact on your enemy. it is a yellow line/strip in the roof of your cockpit which indicates heading of aircraft and the angle your target from your nose.

i dont think i have seen the f-15 have it which makes dogfighting harder than it would have been with that line.

i hope you understand what im trying to say, but is there a mod or something i can use to make the f-15 have it?

If I got it right, this is a line that follows the center of the canopy in the longitudinal axis of the plane. I don't recall any modern fighter having this feature. The closest I can think of is the FW-190s canopy, albeit that was more of a metal line.

Never heard of a feature like that in DCS. To be honest this would never be a problem for a real pilot, or anyone that has trackIR. I take it you don't. If you look around with a hat it can get problematic because you can forget where your head was. I'm not sure if there's anything you can do in that case, I had that problem but it got better with experience. Now I have trackIR :)

Some British aircraft designs have plastic explosive lines installed between layers of glass/ plastic for the cockpit canopy. This is to aid in canopy release during ejection but can also be used as a reference or series of references to be used in flight.

Not sure if this is quite what you mean, I've not seen the yellow thing you've mentioned.

In BMS is just an aid, real canopy doesn' t got it.
