Stratos Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Is possible in the mission editor or already in game to add marks or lines or something to mark an area in the Abris map? I mean for example add a square to mark the possible location of the enemy or something like that. Thanks. I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
Davis0079 Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 that is exactly what the datalink does in the blackshark...and yes you can set this up in flight or in the mission editor with the "prepare to fly" option so its already there at the start It only takes two things to fly, Airspeed and Money.
Stratos Posted July 31, 2014 Author Posted July 31, 2014 Is there any "Quick start" guide or should I resort to the full manual? 1 I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!

dooom Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 read pages 7-76 through 7-80 of manual. For adding lines you can do the following: - press SELECT FSK from PLAN submenu and select the ADD INF optionfrom the menu- hit SELEECT again - Use the cursor to move the black square to the location where you want your line to start. - press ADD LIN FSK - select line color by pressing COLOR FSK - use rotary control to move cursor to where you want the line to end - press ENTER FSK and now you have a line drawn between your two points nthe color you chose. - 1 ASUS Tuf Gaming Pro x570 / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @ 3.8 / XFX Radeon 6900 XT / 64 GB DDR4 3200 "This was not in the Manual I did not read", cried the Noob" - BMBM, WWIIOL
ED Team Raptor9 Posted August 1, 2014 ED Team Posted August 1, 2014 Once you're done, don't forget to save the drawings in the ABRIS database before you exit the mission, the manual tells you how. After you exit the mission back to the mission editor, save the mission file to save the preparations. You can also save multiple routes using the Plan page. I had four routes on my training map to take you to different areas depending on which range you wanted to go to. They won't load into the PVI, so you'll have to fly it manually off the ABRIS. 1 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head
