Hi guys,

I wonder if there is a file where I could edit the default TAD profiles, just like with Counter-measures?

Would be great full if somebody could point it out.

Cheers!

You can do this with the "mission prepare" function in the editor.

Open the mission in the editor, launch the mission prepare function, edit the TAD profiles, exit and save the mission once more.

Thanks Stuka. I was hoping for a more permanent and flexible solution. I think it'll become part of my start-up routine, to set the profiles.

Regarding the "mission prepare" Is it better to launch mission prepare function before or after I start editing the mission ?

Best is to do it as the last action when working on a mission.

If you feel adventurous, you also can open the miz file with winrar or equivalent software, and delete all the folders besides the TAD folder.

Like that you will only use the "prepared TAD" and remove all the other items that were created with the prepare function.

Once you are happy with the TAD settings you actually could copy that 1 folder over to other miz files as well.

Really hope that one day a DTS will be available so we can load those configurations from DTS instead of mission prepare

I wouldn't hold my breath. A member of the 476th was working on just that but the few changes he needed in DCS world won't be done because the A-10C is considered "feature complete".

And before I'm attacked this isn't a slam on ED, just relaying what I was told from ED directly.
