Just thought I should convey my happiness at last night's experience which was so far the most fun I have had in DCS and the best dogfighting experience since Cliffs, it was epic so thank you ED, Erich, Yo-Yo and last but not least the testers (Jammy gits).

 

I had a bloody hard time taking off until I realized, that in my haste to fly I had somehow managed to forget to assign my rudder... :doh: and to think I had laughed at someone that was doing a pre-flight check... :music_whistling:

 

The cockpit is utterly stunning, it blew me away.

 

The MW50 really feels like the boost the pilots described it to be, I managed to fry two engines abusing it.

 

The same goes for the power, the engine just does not stop giving and I was able to do manoeuvers that some Dora pilots mentioned, climbing and climbing and then snapping into a level flight. Fantastic.

 

Shooting in the Dora is going to take a long time to master, the bullets drop so quickly making turn fights much harder than the P-51. I am a bit disappointed by the lack of power of the 20mm but perhaps that is just my poor aim..

 

Thanks to my DoW squad mates I got the chance to do some dive bombing the SC500 is incredibly powerful, I managed to damage my aircraft even with the bomb time delay fused.

 

I have been desperate to get my mitts on this aircraft ever since it was announced and I am loving it, thank you chaps!

P.S. we had ~28 people flying last night and the server handled it better than I expected hope to see that number increase tonight. :thumbup:
