configuring saitek x52 pro

I am having real problems configuring my saitek x52 pro with DCS in general, my collective does nothing does anyone know how to fix this or where i can find some tutorials etc

 

also does anyone have a saitek x52 pro profile for the UH-1H?

Make sure you assign the collective and not the throttle, I know it sounds obvious but I recall other ppl with the same issues thinking they where one and the same. Also it is by default assigned to the slider

Before my warthog was returned I used an X52 but assigned it all through the options in game with very good results

My joystick got all the axis automatically assigned in completely the wrong categories. It was really messed up, toebrakes where collective throttle was pitch etc. So I just erased all the axis in DCS and assigned all of them myself. It'll take you about 5 min.
