Vinny002 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Hi, guys! I'm not 100% sure, I'm running both the DCS world and the space simulator called space engine at the same time. I hit the windows key, it doesn't work, I hit the ALT+CTRL+DEL combination to open the task manager screen, I click on task manager to open the task bar on the bottom of the screen, I click on the running space engine icon to open the running space engine on the task bar, but if I hit the windows key while I'm running the space engine, the task bar on the bottom of the screen opens up, I click on the running DCS world icon to open the running DCS world. A several minutes later, when I hit the ALT+CTRL+DEL combination to open the task manager screen, I click on task manager, it won't open the task bar on the bottom of the screen. Any ideas? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
T_A Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Set DCS to work in windowed mode , also for ALT-TAB to work you`ll need another already existing window open. Vinny002 Posted August 17, 2014 Author Posted August 17, 2014 (edited) Hi, T_A! Thanks! I'll give a try! Update: it worked! I got a question for you, how do I open the window so the ALT+TAB combination will work? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent Edited August 17, 2014 by Vinny002
BitMaster Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 I dunno your Space program but DCS is a "´run-me-alone" program. Despite it might work to run it aside another"run-me-alone" sim it is bound to make problems. Play either one, just as a single task. my 2 cents Gigabyte Aorus X570S Master - Ryzen 5900X - Gskill 64GB 3200/CL14@3600/CL14 - Sapphire Nitro+ 7800XT - 4x Samsung 980Pro 1TB - 1x Samsung 870 Evo 1TB - 1x SanDisc 120GB SSD - Heatkiller IV - MoRa3-360LT@9x120mm Noctua F12 - Corsair AXi-1200 - TiR5-Pro - Warthog Hotas - Saitek Combat Pedals - Asus XG27ACG QHD 180Hz - Corsair K70 RGB Pro - Win11 Pro/Linux - Phanteks Evolv-X

I've been running 2 programs at the same for a long time now and I don't have any problems with it yet. @Bitmaster: the space program what I'm running while playing DCS world is the space simulator called space engine. please check out en.spaceengine.org.
