Is it possible in some way to use the MI-8MTV awesome arsenal of weapons on the KA-50...?

Do you mean anything in particular?

 

The array of weapons available for the Ka-50 is much larger than for the Mi-8MTV2 as far as I can tell.

 

The most prominent Mi-8-only armament so far appear to be the GUV AP-30 and GUV YakB GSHP pods (on the attached screenshot, the GUV AP-30 is loaded on the outer-most station and the GUV YakB GSHP is loaded on the center-station).

 

The Ka-50 on the other hand can load 12 Vikhr ATGMs + two rocket or MG pods and comes pre-equipped with a mighty Shipunov 2A42 30mm cannon with up to 240 + 220 rounds, and the cannon can be tied to the targeting system. I don't know about you, but unless you "just" want an airborne artillery platform, I prefer the Black Shark's armament. :smartass:

 

Or do you simply mean the amount of external weapon-stations (6 on the Mi-8 vs. 4 on the Ka-50)? In that case, nothing much is going to happen unless someone gifts us with a Ka-52 which, AFAIK, comes with 6 external stations. :D
