Hi,

 

Just wondering what people think about the engine sounds in this beta? To me the plane sounds very quite compared to all the other turbines, almost like its an e-plane. Especially when watching externally

 

Is this true in real life or does it just need tuning?

Engine Sounds are bugged and need Tuning.

 

I think its the same issue as with the Sabre...

Yeah too quiet from outside view. Need more whiiine! :)

And also the gsh-23 could be little more louder in cockpit when firing.

Now it sound like a vacuum cleaner...

The Sabre's sound is a bug, it is made and in game files but not working, but MiG I think will have sound update in soon patch, not too far ))

I guess there is a consensus that the outside sound is too tame, so I will wait and see until the next update.

 

Another question is the engine sound in the cocpkit. I guess one could argue that low noise levels are realistic due to wearing a helmet. But I would like to open the discussion about increasing the engine sound to compensate the lack of feeling fibrations of low frequency sounds with your whole body.

I guess the best solution is to have the option for loud or quiet cockpit engine sounds. I presume it wouldn't be hard to add that option to the options menu?

Yes, I have always felt that very good sound and over exaggerated cockpit shake can compensate for that we are not in a real plane :)

I have a realy nasty noise with Gyros (RSBN) which is louder than ALL other stuff!

So loud, that i mistook it with engine sounds (on ground parking after training-mission 4 landing)

Batteries doesn´t bother me. But the Gyros swoosh can´t be normal?! It hurts!

Do i something wrong???
