Pizzicato Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I select S-24 set up everything like i was using unguided rockets but my yellow sight just flashes. What am i doing wrong? Might be an obvious question, but have you played through the tutorial? It's only 10 minutes long and I haven't had any issues firing the S-24 in either mode (locked or unlocked). I'd provide more details, but I'm in work and can't remember the exact steps for launching. i7-7700K @ 4.9Ghz | 16Gb DDR4 @ 3200Mhz | MSI Z270 Gaming M7 | MSI GeForce GTX 1080ti Gaming X | Win 10 Home | Thrustmaster Warthog | MFG Crosswind pedals | Oculus Rift S
luza Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 I select S-24 set up everything like i was using unguided rockets but my yellow sight just flashes. What am i doing wrong? I think it was a bug, since in the latest notes it states "Fixed asp gun sight for S-24 and Grom rockets" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Art-J Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Just tested them and as far as "switch-ology" is concerned, they work as they did previously. Double check if you pushed all the switches as required! i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

There is no tutorial for S-24
Art-J Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 You're right, there isn't, but that's because basic operations principle doesn't differ from unguided S-5 rockets. The only difference is obviously position of the weapons selector. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
Gargoyle1 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Using the s24's are easy. Make sure your weapon pylon switch is set to the upper possition (like when using grom missiles) it will either say 1-2 or 3-4. In which case, if your s24's are on your outer pylons, it would be 3-4 inner would be 1-2. I hope this helps -Gargoyle Wanna see my latest DCS: World movie? Follow this link! QuiGon Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I had the same problem, which made the S-24 unusable for me, but the patch fixed that. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
