Jamesp1 Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I've downloaded the Crazy Horse campaign for UH-1H, then placed the files in the C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Uh-1H\Missions\EN\Campaigns folder. The missions are available as single missions if I navigate to that folder, but the campaign does not appear on the Campaigns screen. Have I done something wrong?
ebabil Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 did you place the folder or single files? as far as i remember, you should place files into the campaign folder FC3 | UH-1 | Mi-8 | A-10C II | F/A-18 | Ka-50 III | F-14 | F-16 | AH-64 | Mi-24 | F-5 | F-15E| F-4| Tornado Persian Gulf | Nevada | Syria | NS-430 | Supercarrier // Wishlist: CH-53 | UH-60 Youtube MS FFB2 - TM Warthog - CH Pro Pedals - Trackir 5
Jamesp1 Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 I placed the files (not the folder) in that directory
Yurgon Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I've downloaded the Crazy Horse campaign for UH-1H, then placed the files in the C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Uh-1H\Missions\EN\Campaigns folder. The missions are available as single missions if I navigate to that folder, but the campaign does not appear on the Campaigns screen. Have I done something wrong? Huh. Sounds like you did everything right. I just tried putting the entire campaign folder into that directory as well as the campaign files without the folder and in both cases the campaign did show up under Campaign -> UH-1H for me, see screenshot. Aside from double checking the path and that you selected Campaigns -> UH-1H, I don't have any recommendations. Except, maybe... a recent patch changed the folder Mods\aircrafts (plural; this is the old name) to Mods\aircraft (singular; this is the current name). Do you by any chance run an older version of DCS? Any 1.2.10 should do fine.
Jamesp1 Posted October 29, 2014 Author Posted October 29, 2014 I got it working - it seemed that it needed the Crazy Horse folder in the Campaigns directory, whereas I was putting the files only in.
