Vinny002 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Hi, guys! I got the DCS world 1.2.11 open beta yesterday. When I go up to over mach 2, the engine shut down. This happened even with the simplified engine management on. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
fjacobsen Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Nope Had it flying at mach 2.1. for an extended period. But it doesn´t like negative G's. Art-J Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Vincent, maybe you did some slight negative-G maneuver. In such conditions, if afterburner is on, the engine goes out after 5 seconds. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
Vinny002 Posted November 8, 2014 Author Posted November 8, 2014 Hi, Art-j! I did not pull any negative Gs. For some reason the engine goes out when flying over mach 2 at around 10,500 meters or 34,440 feet. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
ff4life4 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Nose cone switch on? I haven't hahad any problems going past Mach 2.0 as long as I don't push negative g
Vinny002 Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 Hi, ff4life4! Yes, I have the nose cone switch on. What does the nose one on the Mig-21bis do exactly? How do did your flight go, did you get up to 40,000 feet or about 12,200 meters without the afterburner on? Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
