FishDoctor Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Hello everyone! I want to have a nice collective, because hovering with Warthog is possible but not as real as I would like to have. The problem: Komodosims and others are really expensive, too expensive. I don't understand, why there are much throttles and no collective on the market. The solution: Building a own one. One plan is to assign the movement from the collective with a bowden cable to the throttle of the Warthog. Another to use Saitek Pro Flight Throttle, with I would prefer, but until now, I have no idea how to assign. The Question: Does anyone allready did so and has experience to share? And any ideas about the Pro Flight Throttle? Thank you all!

ED Team BIGNEWY Posted November 12, 2014 ED Team Posted November 12, 2014 I was lucky, managed to find a real helicopter collective on ebay that had been damaged and I adapted it for use with DCS using an old X45 throttle. I spent around £50 with parts and the collective itself. Best thing to do is play around with equipment you have already, and like Viersbovsky has mentioned PeterP's thread is great, I took a lot of inspiration from it. Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
