m1tp2king
hi. I take off from the airfield. then I select waypoint 1 or 2. then I select the 4 auto pilot blue lights. then I engage the route button on the collective. the helicopter points in the correct direction towards the waypoint, BUT it does not move forward towards the waypoint. it just hovers, and sometimes it goes backwards ! am I missing something ? Rogue Trooper
You need to move into forward flight and set your travel speed and height. have all four APs on. Then set the auto route mode to on. HP G2 Reverb, Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. OpenXR, Open XR tool kit disabled. Rogue Trooper
and of course trim is important as it sets the flight settings into the 4 APs. QuiGon
Like Rogue Trooper said, the AP keeps the speed you're flying at at the moment when you engage the AP. So let's say you want the AP fly at 200 km/h you need to achieve that speed manually and then engage the AP once you reached 200 km/h. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
