ebabil Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I took off from Java and headed to Leningor, briefing says "with a stop at position VETKA" what is or where is Vetka? do i have to stop somewhere called vetka before landind leningor? and, just before the approaching to leningor, radio says "check the village tsinagor (or something like that) at 89-73. i think this location is at somewhere south east of didi gromi. i check the location and i found a weird village without name on it in the map. and i also found a abandoned mi-28 just north of the village. i landed, hovered but nothing happened. ricktoberfest Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I believe there are a couple insurgents on the roof of one of the buildings in that village. Your supposed to take them out, either by arming at the FARP or ramming them with you wheels. The only stop before that is at SHPORA I believe. (It's been a bit since I did that one)
Ralphk Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I second that... the only way to do it is to land on the roof over the two insurgents...
Chlebakus Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 I am pretty sure there are no guys on any roof. There is no such thing in any mission through campaign. Except the last mission where you have to deploy them. Vetka is callsign of FARP near Leningor. If I remember it well this mission guides you to take some supplies to Leningor whilst the Mi-28 is shot down by rebels. You have to go to Leningori FARP first and pickup the Mi-28 crew on your way to base. If not, all I can recommend you is to read your briefing well an check your flight plan. Also always enter mission plan before you launch. It can make some things clearer. You will meet this heli in two more missions. Or there is bugged trigger. Then make a research ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ebabil Posted November 22, 2014 Author Posted November 22, 2014 i saw absuletly no insurgents or helicopter crew. i have read the mission biriefing but this mi-28 incident wasn't mentioned. radio told me to go and check the area before the landing leningor, so i had to divert asap. i will try to land leningor and then try to make another search over this area according to @Chlebakus advice. Chlebakus Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 I dont know. This campaign is great, but still there are some appearing bugs. Recently I wanted to fly it againg with my new pedals. And I get stuck again in mission 2 at Lazauri base in mountains, where the trigger just doesnt finish. If you want to fly this campaign despite stopped progress, just fly the missions separately. This campaign rocks! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ricktoberfest Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=124120 Is this the mission? If so there are 2 insurgents in the village (for me they were on some kind of roof or platform) that the escorting chopped is supposed to kill, but never does. Then your suppose to land and pick up the crew of the helo. First though, I believe you were supposed to land at leningori before you investigated the village. (Maybe that's the trigger you forgot). That starts a series of triggers that lead to the other stuff
ricktoberfest Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 The investigating the village was a radio message for a different helo (the one that is on the ground damaged at the village). While you are unloading at leningori a bunch of other messages come through that direct you to the village
ricktoberfest Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Remember that you are always 103 in the campaign. Other helos are 101, 102 etc
ricktoberfest Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 If this doesn't help then post a track. But pause and read the radio messages in the mission and understand them before going on to the next step
ebabil Posted November 22, 2014 Author Posted November 22, 2014 ok it is solved. thanks for everyone who helped. looks like i had tried to respond a call which didin't belong to me. it was for mi-28 itself. so i just flied directly to the leningori. and on the way back home, i was ordered to pick up the crew in the village. as you had said, mi-24 couldn't take the insurgents down so i killed them but not by crushing them with my wheels lol, just fired a few rounds of gun. thanks again. ITOBAN Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Hi guys. That's my first message. I just finished this mission: - when you hear the first radio message about rounds fired do NOT divert, stay on your task and land as briefed. - while unloading other messages will come in. I suggest you to refuel a bit and arm the chopper. - take off and head to the abandoned village - keep the downed chopper at your six and face the village. On the low left you'll see two men on a low white flat building. Shoot them down. - land close to the downed chopper, the crew will come on board. - take off and return to base! Hope that was helpful. There are no major bugs, you just have to be very precise ;-)
kilix Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 I am currently playing Ka-50 Medvedev campaign, but when I return to Mi-8 and get to this mission, I will crush those guys with wheels supermario-style:megalol: Thanks for advice, guys My setup: Intel i3 4170, NVidia GTX960, 4x4GB DDR3 1600MHz, 128GB Kingston SSD, FaceTrackNOIR Modules: KA-50, Mig-21, SU-27, Mi-8 If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter -- and therefore, unsafe
