fitness88 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 I'm getting ridges in the cloud formations, very noticeable when you first break through on top of the clouds. Any idea if it's a settings adjustment or a new graphics bug with DCS? Thank you.
Witchking Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 I got even worse horizontal CUT SECTIONS in the cloud layers... it was with the newest nvidia 344.72 driver. I went back all the way to 334 or something from back in may and the clouds look fine. try another driver? see if that helps. Is it possible it's a 3D setting? Thanks.
GeorgeLKMT Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Not a bug, I remember clouds being like that since forever ;) You'll get the same thing with fog. ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
fitness88 Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 FYI from the release notes: Do not Use Windows Rollback for Graphics Drivers To reinstall a previous or older NVIDIA graphics driver, do not use the Windows rollback feature. This method will not reliably restore all the previous driver files. Instead, use the Windows Add and Remove programs to remove the current driver, and then install the older driver using setup.exe.
