That's what I meant. Currently the MEDEVAC / CSAR script is based on the ejection event of the plane object. It spawns an infantry man at the point where the pilot ejected. Meanwhile the pilot is coming down on his chute and lands elsewhere.

After 1.2.14 introduced the visible pilot descending on chute and at least stays visible in MP I t would be cool if we could access the pilot object and check vicinity etc. rather than the "workaround" with spawning the infantry man after ejection.

 

I once did a pickup of a buddy who ejected and he could see me "picking him up" while dangling down on his chute...

We just need to know how to access the downed pilot object with the mission scripting environment...

...and if we could get the option to control the pilot visibly in MP and fire a flare gun, that would be nice, too. :D

Well they got a step closer, the K4 has a flare gun... :D
