The Autohook works, but its quite difficult to place the Helo straight over the Load without cheating ^^ (Outside View) Btw. Take your time to hover etc. Trim the Helo! And try to use a load with 3tons or so, then you feel when the cable is tensioned and you can hover the helo easy over the load. :) greetings and Thanks!

Thank You for sharing. I'd noticed that was added this option, but could not find the right position of the Mi-8 in relation to the cargo, to hook it. antonio.
deephack Posted December 24, 2014 Author Posted December 24, 2014 @Dahui Yeah there doesn't appear to be a cargo cam like on the Huey, also someone from Belsimtek mentioned on the forums that they were intending to add indicators to the show controls box which can be displayed at the top left but those are not present yet either. I think I was rushing a bit in my manoeuvres, pressure of having an audience I think! I was using the g meter to determine when the cable was tight as I did get a little spike whenever it went taut. Also the view jolts just slightly which gives it away. I really like the way Belsimtek have modelled things like vibration and jolts as it adds a lot of input you would be missing usually in a sim. They are of course emphasised but necessarily so I feel. Glad you all liked the video. I'm going to try and do the same in the Huey shortly. https://www.youtube.com/user/deephack
