This cockpit mod provides full Chinese cockpit for DCS World: Mi-8MTV2 module (China imported Mi-17/171 that motivated me to create such mod). Reference: Mi-8/Mi-17 heli family (authoritative) tool manual by a PLA senior colonel

 

Howto install:

 

1) Extract "MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES" folder from zip file

 

2) Move the folder to "aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Cockpit\Resources\Model\Textures\"

 

* This mod is created based on DCS World v1.2.14.

* Based on both Original Rus & Devrim's Eng Textures.

This skin mod is a modification based on http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/495884/

 

Add 'LH91' label for 5-digit SN (LH means army aviation)

Add some text labels

Tune the color

 

Howto install:

1) create a folder 'mi-8mt' under 'aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Liveries\'

2) unzip the skin zip file and move 'Mi8_PLAAA' to 'aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Liveries\mi-8mt'

3) choose this skin in ME

I just tried chinese cockpit mod. it seems you miss some files in mod install package. all the windshield is not transparent. it is paste on some strange image files.... please check the screenshot.

1) Extract "MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES" folder from zip file

 

2) Move the folder to "aircraft\Mi-8MTV2\Cockpit\Resources\Model\Textures\" (under 'Textures' folder, there should be MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES folder and MI8MTV-STND-TEXTURES.zip)

 

don't replace the original zip file. it does not miss any files.
